There is literally something for everyone here in Braemar village. Our cabins are situated within our own wee hub of businesses. In the wider village we are very lucky to have many other local businesses to explore. Whether you are into hiking and biking or prefer a more relaxed pace checking out the shops and eateries, we are confident you will find many things to do here.
We have our Braemar Mountain Sports outdoor shop, which sells everything you could possibly need for outdoor adventures during your stay. We even have a substantial country wear section. You will find it hidden at the back of the shop. So whatever your style, we will have you covered!
Joined on to the shop we have The Bothy cafe, where we do breakfast and lunch. We also have a lovely selection of home baking (make sure you try our cheese scones). There is a cosy fire lit during the winter months and scenic outdoor seating for the summer. We have a lovely outdoor seating area to the rear of the cafe, overlooking the river Clunie. And a dog friendly section too.
Take a wander through the village of Braemar and check out some of our finest local producers. We have a butchers, a chocolate shop, gift shops and a patisserie. We also have low level walks direct from the cabins. And of course the Munros which can be accessed from Braemar and include four of the highest mountains in the UK.
